Friends of Leverett Pond

On April 27, Leverett Town Meeting will vote on  a request from the Friends of Leverett Pond for $160,000 from the Community Preservation Act funds to replace the dam. A vote in favor will not affect your tax bill. 

This funding request has broad community support and was approved for presentation to the town by unanimous vote of the Community Preservation Committee  It is the final piece of our fundraising effort to replace the old, leaky dam essential to maintaining the pond in its current state.
